Youth urges to adopt ‘Nation First’ mantra at Bhiwani varsity

The first lecture of a year-long series on the themes of ‘Pancha Kosha’ and the ‘Indian knowledge system’ began at Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU) Bhiwani, organised jointly by Vidya Bharati, the Higher Education Department and CBLU. The programme was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Deepti Dharmani.

RSS Pracharak Indresh Kumar, who attended the event as the keynote speaker, said the primary purpose of education was character development and the creation of a cohesive, harmonious human society. He said true education is synonymous with humanity and noted that knowledge transforms individuals into better human beings, whereas ignorance leads to conflict, disorder and violence. “Education must, therefore, be value-based and transformative,” he said.

Kumar urged educational institutions should cultivate a spirit of humanity and nationalism. He encouraged the youth to adopt the ideology of ‘Let Nation First, Nation Must and Nation Always’ as a guiding mantra to make Bharat a developed nation.

Vidya Bharati’s North Zone Co-Organisation Minister Balkishan and Saurabh Chaudhary, Chairperson of the Department of Holistic Education in Chandigarh, also participated as special guests.

Balkishan, speaking on the occasion, advocated for a healthy lifestyle and encouraged young people to embrace vegetarianism, uphold moral values, respect their parents and teachers, and follow a *Pancha Kosha*-based way of living. He urged individuals to smile and help others smile, to learn the distinction between right and wrong, and to recognise the difference between genuine affection and superficiality. “India was, is, and will continue to be a world leader,” he asserted.
