The body of a youth was found from the historical “baoli” (stepwell) located in Meham township of Rohtak district today.

The deceased has been identified as Aniket of Bhaini Surjan village in the Meham area.

He had been stabbed to death and his throat had been slit. His body was sent for autopsy. Aniket was preparing for competitive examinations for a government job.

As per the police investigators, he was accompanied by his friend, who is being traced to get to the bottom of the matter.
