National president of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha and Lok Sabha member from Bengaluru (South) constituency Tejasvi Surya announced that the BJYM will launch Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan from August 11 to 14.

He said Partition Horror Remembrance Day will be observed on August 14. Addressing a meeting of BJYM office-bearers in Gurugram on Wednesday, he said the BJP has set a target of hoisting the Tricolour in 20 crore houses across the country. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
