Una: 1,211 qualify Van Mitra physical test for 66 posts

As many as 1,708 aspirants appeared in the physical test conducted by the Una Forest Division today for the 66 Van Mitra posts. The test was conducted near Shiv Shankar cold store located on the old Hoshiarpur road and at Government Senior Secondary School, Behar Jaswan.
Una Divisional Forest Officer Sushil Kumar Rana said the department had received 2,498 applications for 66 posts, of which 109 were found invalid and hence rejected. He said 1,708 aspirants reported for the physical test, of which 497 were disqualified.
Rana said 1,211 candidates, including female candidates, had qualified the test. The male candidates had to run 5km, while the female candidates had to run 1,500m. He added that written tests would be conducted later.
