Mohammad belonged to a nomadic Gujjar family and had come from Chamba district to Sahora village in Indora with his livestock. The police after conducting preliminary investigation arrested Yakub Deen, a resident of Thohra Bhaloon (Nurpur), and Yakub, a resident of Ghandrah village in Indora.
