1 held with 73-gm charas in Theog

One person has been arrested with 73.77-gm cannabis (charas) in Ghoond village of Theog subdivision, Shimla district. The arrested suspect has been identified as Anuakshay, a resident of Ghoond village of Theog, Shimla. According to the police, the he was arrested by a Special Cell team of the police in Ghoond. On suspicion, the team stopped the suspect for checking, after which, he tried to flee the spot. The police caught hold of him, and found contraband from his possession. Theog Deputy Superintendent of Police Siddharth Sharma said a case under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act had been registered against him, and a probe was on in this regard.
