1 killed, 4 hurt as boulder falls on car in Mandi district

Mandi, January 31

One woman was killed and four other persons sustained injuries, when a big boulder fell on their car at the Chandigarh-Manali highway at Bindravani bypass tunnel in Mandi district today. They were heading for Mandi from Pandoh side, when a big boulder rolled down the hill and directly hit the front part of car. The deceased was identified as Promila Devi (40), a native of Runjh village, Mandi. She was rushed to the zonal hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
