A private university in the state has reportedly showed reluctance in refunding the security deposit and deducted 10 per cent of the amount in the name of maintenance charges.

Some students of Indus International University, Una, had complained to the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (HPPEIRC) that their security amount was not being refunded.
