It is being attended by more than 10,000 engineers online from India and abroad.
Open library for researchers: SFI
The SFI has demanded that the HPU library should be opened up for research students. The SFI, in a memorandum to the chief librarian, said the library had been closed since March 18. The students’ body said many researchers had to stop their work as they had no access to the library. The SFI questioned when the HPU could start other activities, why researchers were being denied access to the library.

Mathematics week begins today
The Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology and Environment (HIMCOSTE) — which holds HP Children’s Science Congress at the subdivisional, district and state levels every year — has organised the event online this year due to the pandemic. Besides, it is organising Mathematics Week from December 19 to 22 in collaboration with Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala, Jalandhar. The participants of the programme are schoolchildren of Classes VI to XII along with science and mathematics teachers.
Sanjauli college has new website
Government College, Sanjauli, principal CB Mehta inaugurated the new website of the college – https://gcsanjauli.edu.in – on Friday. The principal said as per the direction of the Ministry of Education, all information regarding the college had been uploaded on the website.
