137 new cases, one death in Himachal

Shimla, January 3

As many as 137 Covid cases were reported in the state today, taking the tally to 229,153. Besides, one person died of the virus in Hamipur.

The highest 43 cases were recorded in Kangra, followed by 17 in Solan, 16 in Una, 15 in Shimla, 10 in Bilaspur, nine in Hamirpur, eight each in Chamba and Kullu, seven in Mandi, two in Lahaul and Spiti and one each in Sirmaur and Kinnaur.—TNS
