The team seized 12 tullu pumps being used by some residents illegally to draw water for kitchen gardens. The team also snapped 15 unauthorised water connections and seized 40 water pipes used for these connections. The team also faced the wrath of some people during the drive.

Pradeep Chadha, executive engineer, Indora, said the department was receiving complaints from the public that some consumers were misusing water and using tullu pumps to draw the maximum water, causing artificial water scarcity in the area.
