The recruits, after undergoing 31 weeks of rigorous training, swore allegiance to the Indian Republic. Their training included physical fitness, field craft, weapons handling, tactics, firing, night navigation, map reading, and sports. Special emphasis was also laid on IT-based training, reflecting the technical edge expected from Agniveers.

Brigadier Puneet Sharma, Commandant of the 14 Gorkha Training Centre, reviewed the parade and addressed the Agniveers. He urged them to uphold the honour of the Indian Army and serve with commitment and pride across the nation’s frontiers.

Since 2023, the training centre has successfully trained and commissioned several batches of Agniveers. The current batch continues the tradition of excellence and discipline, embodying the spirit and dedication of the Indian Army’s future leadership.
