Sporting and cultural festivities marked the second day of 178th Founders Day celebrations of Lawrence School, Sanawar.

The day began with friendly futsal and basketball matches played between the old Sanawarians (OS) and the present Sanawarians.

An engaging and fun-filled event ‘Fete’ organised by the Old Sanawarian Society (OSS), added colour and energy to the campus while the hobby exhibitions by students drew great appreciation from visiting parents and alumni, who lauded the creativity, innovation and talent displayed across diverse disciplines.

Headmaster Himmat Singh Dhillon said, “As we celebrate 178 years of Sanawar, our focus remains on preparing students to lead with empathy and courage. Founders Day stands as a bridge between our proud history and a future shaped by inspired young minds. Seeing our alumni and students celebrate together is a reminder of the school’s enduring strength and shared pride”

Besides, the Annual General Meeting of the Old Sanawarian Society (OSS) was also held. The meeting, attended by members of the Governing Council deliberated on various initiatives for the welfare, networking, and development of Old Sanawarians worldwide to reaffirm their continued commitment to the school’s growth and legacy.

As the evening descended, the campus came alive with the much-awaited school concert, wherein students showcased their artistic flair through mesmerising performances in music, dance and drama leaving the audience spellbound. The grand finale of the evening, the spectacular Light and Sound Show – Tattoo, was a breathtaking fusion of precision, rhythm and illumination.
