Rajeev Bindal presided over training seminars for active party workers in the Haroli and Una Assembly segments today.
Bindal, while addressing mediapersons before the meetings, said Assembly segment-wise meetings of active party workers were being held to orient them with the policies and programmes of the party.
He said that during the new membership drive in the state a few months ago, 18 lakh nominal members and 27,000 active workers were enrolled. He added the party organisation’s focus was to ensure that the active members were well versed with the history and development of the BJP, besides Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and achievements for the development of the nation and public welfare works.
Bindal said the party organisation had been extended from 68 mandals, which coincided with the Assembly segment area, to 174 mandals. This, he added, was aimed at bringing about increased penetration of the party activities at the grass-roots level, thereby facilitating the implementation of government schemes.
He said that BJP Foundation Week was being observed from April 6 to 13 and training seminars for active workers were being organised in all Assembly segments. He added that at the end of the meetings, BJP workers take an oath to contribute towards implementing the party’s vision, policies and programmes.
