Solan: 19-year-old biker dies while making reel
Solan, July 22
Filming a reel on a fast-moving motorcycle cost a 19-year-old youth his life near Samlech village on the Kumarhatti-Solan highway last evening.
The deceased was identified as Rahul, a resident of Bathol village in Dharampur. The accident occurred when Rahul’s two-wheeler rammed into the wall of a tunnel as he was trying to overtake another bike. He was on way to Dharampur from Solan.
Rahul worked with a courier company and had bought the bike last week. The mishap occurred while the biker was trying to shoot a reel at a high speed, his friends revealed.
A police probe revealed the accident occurred due to Rahul’s rash and negligent driving.
He died on the spot.
Solan SP Gaurav a case under Sections 281, 106 (1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita had been registered and further probe was underway.
