Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) achieved a significant milestone recently, issuing its first computer-generated way bill at the Killar bus stand in Pangi.

“The installation of computers and internet facilities at this remote location demonstrates HRTC’s commitment to digitising operations, even in the most inaccessible regions of the state. This initiative is part of HRTC’s broader mission to modernise its services, improve efficiency and enhance passenger experience,” said HRTC MD Rohan Chand Thakur.

The Managing Director expressed pride in the achievement, and reiterated HRTC’s commitment to leveraging technology for enhanced public service delivery.
