Shimla, June 3
The coronavirus has entered the tribal Kinnaur district as the two persons, who returned from Delhi and were under institutional quarantine at Urni in the district, tested positive for the virus today.
Both the patients are being shifted to the district Covid care centre in Kinnaur, said health official.
Besides, a 34-year-old person, also a returnee from Delhi, who was in institutional quarantine at Jeori in Rampur sub-division of Shimla district, tested positive for the virus taking the number in the district to 10.
He was shifted to Covid care centre, Mashobra in Shimla, said DC Shimla Amit Kashyap.
As many as 1,625 samples were tested at the IGMC Shimla, CRI Kasauli, Dr RPGMC Tanda and IHBT Palampur today. Out of these, six patients tested positive for covid-19 virus taking the number to 357 in the state. Other 558 were found negative while reports of 1061 were awaited from these testing centres.
