2 dead in road accident in Shimla's Nerwa village
Two persons have been killed after a Bolero Camper (HP 08A 2578) they were travelling in plunged into a deep gorge in Nerwa Tehsil, district Shimla.
The deceased have been identified as Prajwal Tangraik (28), son of late Om Prakash Tangraik and Manoj Banaik (27), son of Kedar Singh, residents of Diyalari village in Nerwa, Shimla.
According to reports, the accident took place near Nerwa on Diyalari road when driver lost it control and the vehicle plunged into a deep gorge, killing both of them on the spot.
The accident was noticed by local residents who immediately informed the police. Taking prompt action, a police team reached the spot and recovered the bodies with the assistance of locals.
The body were then taken to Civil Hospital, Nerwa for postmortem.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chopal, Sushant Sharma, confirmed the report.
