In a tragic accident late Thursday night, two youths lost their lives after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a stray bull near the main gate of Gaggal Airport in Kangra district.

The deceased have been identified as Akshay Kumar (29) of Bhatechch in Shahpur and Pawan Kumar (36) of Tundu, Shahpur.

According to police officials, the duo was travelling on a motorcycle (registration number HP 90-1043) when a stray bull suddenly came in front of their vehicle. The motorcycle rammed into the animal, throwing both riders onto the road. They sustained severe injuries and were taken to the Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, in an ambulance. However, doctors declared them brought dead.
