Shimla, August 16
The death toll in the Nugalsari landslide incident in Kinnaur district has increased to 25, with the recovery of two more bodies from a gorge near the landslide site.
The rescue operation started at 6 am today. A team of home guards reached the spot with the help of a rope where the bodies were found.
The spot was not visible earlier as shooting stones were posing risk and hindering the search operation.
The bodies have been extracted manually and are yet to be identified. So far, 13 injured persons have been rescued by teams of the NDRF, ITBP, Army, police and home guards.
