2 road mishap victims succumb to injuries

Kangra, March 17
Two persons who were seriously injured in two different road accidents of Kangra and Chamba districts succumbed to their injuries at Dr RP Government Medical College, Tanda, on Monday evening, police said here today.
The police said five injured persons of Chamba-Chandigarh HRTC bus which met with an accident on March 10, included Sudhir Kumar, 30, resident of Pattada Bharmour, and were admitted to DRPGMC, Tanda. The police said Sudhir Kumar succumbed to his injuries at the hospital last evening taking the death toll of the mishap to seven.
In another accident, a roadside vendor Chotay Lal, 25, resident of Dehra, was hit by a two wheeler a week ago in Dehra and was under treatment at DRPGMC, Tanda, since then. He succumbed to his injuries last evening.
Both the cases were registered under Section 279, 337, and 304A IPC and bodies were sent for the post-mortem before handing over these to their family members for last rites.
