Two vehicles were damaged and water supply to some houses was affected due to a landslide in the Engine Ghar area of Sanjauli. At least 35 water supply connections were affected after the incident that occurred on Tuesday night.
While one vehicle was completely buried under the debris, another car was partially damaged. The Public Work Department staff reached the spot and removed the debris.
Engine Ghar ward councillor Ankush Verma said the restoration work was going on. Verma said he feared that a tree at the site might come down as well. “We will seek permission for its lopping from the authorities concerned. The work is on to restore that water connections that were damaged due to the incident,” he said.
