23 test +ve in Solan

Twenty-three persons, including 15 in the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh industrial belt, tested positive for Covid-19 in Solan district on Friday. Medical Officer, Solan, Dr NK Gupta said that two workers of Ambuja Cements Limited, Darlaghat, and one person at Bhumti in Arki, an expectant mother in Parwanoo and a healthcare worker of MMU Medical College, Kumarhatti, were found infected.

In the BBN area, the 15 cases were reported in the Housing Board Colony at Baddi, Kishenpura, Dhabota, New Nalagarh, Ward No. 6, Nalagarh, Barotiwala, and in Birla Textiles, Baddi. A person from Sirmaur district also tested positive at Solan. He was sent to the Covid care centre at Sarahan.

35 cases in Sirmaur

Thirty-five cases, including 10 from a pharma company at Nahan, were detected in Sirmaur district. Deputy Commissioner RK Pruthi said that 19 persons tested Covid-positive in Nahan, 14 in Paonta Sahib, and one each in Rajgarh and Nohradhar.
