As many as 244 Covid cases were reported in the state today, taking the tally to 287,779. Besides, one person died of the virus in Kullu district. The number of active cases rose to 1,202.

The highest number of 53 cases was recorded in Kangra, followed by 45 in Chamba, 35 in Mandi, 34 in Shimla, 29 in Sirmaur, 18 in Kullu, eight in Solan, six each in Bilaspur and Hamirpur, five in Lahaul and Spiti, four in Una and one in Kinnaur.
