26 cases in Solan
Twenty-six Covid cases were detected in Solan district on Friday. These included an employee of the SBI branch and an HRTC employee at Parwanoo, said Medical Officer, Solan, Dr NK Gupta.
2 cops among 48 infected
Forty-eight persons tested Covid positive in Sirmaur district. Those found infected included two policemen of Katcha Tank police post, Nahan, a 42-year-old employee of Carlsberg India Pvt Ltd and a 37-year-old biochemist of Nahan medical college, said Deputy Commissioner RK Pruthi. Besides, a 45-year-old woman died of Covid at the community health centre at Paonta Sahib. She was also suffering from hypertension.
