The State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA) has approved 27 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and undertaking substantial expansion of existing units with a proposed investment of Rs 1,937 crore, offering employment opportunities for 2,715 persons. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presided over the meeting.

Some of the proposals approved by the authority include proposals of M/s Xenone Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Nalagarh and M/s Master Formulations CO, Nalagarh for manufacturing of tablets, capsules, ointments, etc., M/s Jay Apple CA Store, Chirgaon, for setting up of cold store, M/s Agro Farm Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Village Narchet in Tehsil Theog, for setting up cold store.

Several expansion proposals approved by the authority include proposals of M/s Procter and Gamble Home Products Pvt. Ltd. for manufacturing shampoo and detergent powder in Baddi, M/s Loreal India Pvt. Ltd., for manufacturing hair colorant and medicated toilet soap in Baddi.

Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena and senior officials also attended the meeting.
