In a major administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government today transferred three IPS and two Himachal Pradesh Police Service (HPPS) officers.

As per the official notification issued by the state government, 2019-batch IPS officer Amit Yadav, presently posted as Commandant, 5th IRBn in Bassi, Bilaspur, has been transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police (SP) Una with immediate effect, replacing Rakesh Singh from the post of SP, Una. Singh has been transferred to the post of SP (Leave Reserve) at Police Headquarters in Shimla.

The state government also transferred Rajesh Verma, SP, Communication and Technical Services (C&ST), as SP (CWO) at Police Headquarters, Shimla.

Additionally, 2020-batch HPPS officer Raj Kumar, presently serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) in Lahaul and Spiti district at Keylong, has been transferred to the post of Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) at Dadasiba in Kangra district and 2022-batch HPPS officer Rashmi Sharma who is presently awaiting posting at Police Headquarters has been transferred to the post of DSP (HQ) in Keylong, Lahaul and Spiti.
