30 students, 6 teachers Covid +ve in Lahaul
Mandi/Shimla, July 6
As many as 30 students were found Covid positive at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Keylong, in Lahaul and Spiti on Tuesday. Six teachers were also found infected.
The district health authorities have kept the students and the teachers in isolation. The school has been closed for a few days.
Meanwhile, 144 Covid cases were reported in the state on Wednesday. The number of active cases rose to 822.
The highest 42 cases were recorded in Kangra, 18 in Hamirpur, 17 in Chamba, 14 in Mandi, 11 in Shimla, nine each in Kullu and Bilaspur, eight in Solan, five each in Lahaul and Spiti and Sirmaur, four in Una and two in Kinnaur.—TNS
