37 IIIT students given degrees
Hamirpur, August 21
As many as 37 graduated B.Tech students were awarded degrees in the third convocation of the Indian Institute of Information technology (IIIT) on its off campus at the National Institute of Technology here today. All students attended the online convocation from their homes.
There were 25 students of Computer Science and Engineering and 12 of Electronics and Communication Engineering. In Computer Science and Engineering, the awardees were Anubhav Bhalotia (gold), Shivani Joshi (silver) and Kaushal Kishore (bronze) while in Electronic and Communicaion Engineering, Aman Saxena, Shyam Sunder Sharma and Meenal Ranta received the gold, silver and bronze medals.
Prof Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE, was the chief guest. — OC
