4.62 lakh revenue cases settled in two years in Lok Adalats

As many as 4,62,590 pending revenue cases have been resolved between October 2023 and October 2025 through 'Rajsav Lok Adalats’. “These include 3,85,634 mutations, 24,044 partitions, 42,123 demarcations and 11,789 corrections in revenue records,” said a government spokesperson. He said the initiative had brought substantial relief to landowners, ensuring timely redressal of long-pending revenue matters.

“The Rajsav Lok Adalats are now being held at sub-tehsil and tehsil levels across the state during the last two days of every month, enabling easy access for public. A large number of people are coming forward to resolve their grievances through this platform,” he said.

The spokesperson stated that the current government had introduced several reforms in the Revenue Department aimed at improving efficiency and providing swift relief in long-pending land-related cases. “The launch of ‘Rajsav Lok Adalats’ since October 30, 2023 has proved highly beneficial to land owners as revenue matters are now being disposed of at an accelerated pace,” he said.

As per the directives of the Chief Minister, the Revenue Department has been working to clear pending cases and provide much-needed relief to people, who had been awaiting resolution of their land issues for years. “The government remains committed to delivering quality, accessible and time-bound services at the doorsteps of citizens as part of its commitment to good governance. This initiative has saved people's significant time and money, sparing them repeated visits to revenue offices,” he added.

The spokesperson added that the overwhelming response to ‘Rajsav Lok Adalats’ reflects the trust of the public in this initiative. “The government has accorded top priority to resolving revenue cases swiftly, reaffirming its commitment to alleviating the difficulties of the common man, for whom the present Government stands dedicated,” he said.
