4% DA arrears to be paid when financial condition improves
The government will pay the arrears of 4 per cent DA to employees from January 1, 2023, when the financial condition improves, stated Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu in a written reply to a question of BJP’s Bilaspur MLA Trilok Jamwal in the House yesterday.
To Palampur MLA Ashish Butail’s question, Minister for Urban Development Vikramaditya Singh said that in the past one year, 243 revenue mohals had been brought (partially or fully) under the Town and Country Planning Act in the state. He added that the notification for the inclusion of these revenue mohals under the Town and Country Planning Act had been issued but the date from which it would be implemented was yet to be notified. After the implementation of the notification, any construction beyond 1,000 square metres in the notified mohals would need permission from the Town and Country Planning Department.
The minister said that seven revenue mohals had been brought under the Town and Country Planning Act in Chamba district, 55 in Palampur Assembly constituency, 21 in Sullah, 12 in Baijnath, 18 in Dharamsala, four in Shahpur, 20 in Banjar, two in Jogindernagar, 11 in Balh, 13 in Shimla, three in Chaupal, seven in Jubbal, 12 in Kasumpti, two in Sirmaur, 40 in Una and two in Chintpurni.
To Sullah MLA Vipin Singh Parmar’s question, the Chief Minister said that 13,142 offices had been shifted from rented private premises to government buildings, saving more than Rs 1.31 crore of the public exchequer.
