This was announced by Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Singh during a meeting held at Hamir Bhawan to discuss festival arrangements. He mentioned that extensive preparations will be made for the successful organisation of the event at the historic Sujanpur Chaugan.
The Deputy Commissioner directed officials from various departments to ensure necessary facilities at the festival venue, including water supply, electricity, fire safety, traffic management, security and cleanliness. He emphasised that such festivals reflect the rich cultural heritage of the area and should be organised in their true spirit.
The DC also instructed all departments to begin preparing exhibition stalls to showcase their achievements and programmes, aimed at raising awareness of government schemes. The meeting was attended by several officials, including Additional District Magistrate Rahul Chauhan, Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner to DC, Aprajita Chandel, Executive Engineer Narender Abrol, and Hamirpur SDM Sanjit Singh.
