4 IPS officers transferred

Shimla, March 4

The Himachal Pradesh Government today issued an order of transfer and posting of four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on the recommendation of the Civil Services Board.

As per the official notification, 2006-batch officer Bimal Gupta, who is currently serving as Inspector-General (IG), State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV & ACB) in Shimla, has been transferred to the post of IG, Welfare and Administration, at Police Headquarters in Shimla.

Anupam Sharma, currently serving as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Welfare & Administration, Shimla, has been transferred to the post of DIG, Prisons, in Shimla.

Rahul Nath and Ranjana Chauhan, who were currently awaiting posting, had been posted as DIG, SV & ACB, Shimla, and DIG, Law and Order, Shimla, respectively.
