4 schools in Solan made containment zones

Four schools in the district were made containment zones today after their staff and students tested Covid positive.

Deputy Commissioner KC Chaman said Pinegrove School, Dharampur; MRA DAV School, Solan; Chail Military School and Gurukul International School, Solan, had been declared containment zones. “Fifteen teachers and four cooks of Pinegrove School have tested Covid positive,” he said. Two infected students at Pinegrove School are the relatives of the Chief Minister and they have been isolated at his residence in Shimla.

Fifteen staffers of Gurukul International School, three of Shoolini University and one of JP University also tested positive today. — TNS
