As many as 50 students of government schools will proceed on an exposure visit to Cambodia and Singapore tomorrow. It’s the first time government schools students are beings sent abroad for an exposure visit. Samagra Shiksha is sponsoring the tour.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that the state was continuously taking corrective steps to promote quality education. “Exposure visits are being given priority for teachers as well as students so that they can get better education and experience at the global level,” he said.

Meanwhile, Education Secretary Rakesh Kanwar held a review meeting with the officials of Samagra Shiksha, Higher Education and Primary Education Department. In the meeting, Kanwar told the Deputy Directors to regularly inspect the schools under them and ensure that the library, lab, sports equipment are fully used in the schools.
