ASHA workers are set to provide ORS and zinc tablets to all children under the age of five in their respective areas in Chamba district during the Intensive Diarrhea and Pneumonia Control fortnight drive.

The march is set to be organised from March 14 to 27, MOH Dr Jalam Bhardwaj said during the district-level taskforce meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

In the meeting, which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal, a strategy was chalked out for the successful organisation of the drive, and National Vaccination Day. District Vaccination Officer Dr Rohit Nadda provided information about the Pulse Polio Campaign scheduled for March 3.

He said 53,764 children under the age of five would be administered polio drops in the district on Sunday.
