As many as 52 youth from various institutions donated their blood in the first blood donation camp of the year organised at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College and Hospital under the aegis of the District Red Cross Society today.

Deputy Commissioner of Chamba Vivek Bhatia, who is also the chairperson of the society, inaugurated the camp. On this occasion, the DC said 379 needy patients had been given financial help last year while 44 differently abled persons had been provided wheelchairs. — OC
