As many as 58 students, including 23 girls, donated blood at a camp organised by Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvividyalaya at its Health Centre here today to mark the 74th anniversary of the Raising Day of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). Vice-Chancellor AK Panda, who was the chief guest of the function, appreciated students for their humanitarian efforts. He motivated them to continue participating in such noble activities in the future as well, highlighting the importance of community service in nation-building.

The event was organised under the mentorship and supervision of Lt Col Amardeep Singh Chatwal, Commanding Officer, 5HP (I) Company, Dharamsala. The university applauded the collective efforts that made the event impactful and meaningful.
