60 teachers take part in workshop on National Curriculum Framework
Resource persons emphasise 21st-century skills, value-based education, student-centric learning, tech integration for holistic development of learners
To hone teaching skills of teachers, the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) organised a teacher training workshop on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) in education at DAV Senior Secondary Public School at Rehan in Fatehpur subdivision yesterday. CBSE resource educators Shivani Singh and Jagruti Verma conducted the workshop under the supervision of school principal Rashmi Jamwal.
The focus of the workshop was on the vision of the NCF-2023, its objectives and practical implementation in classrooms. Over 60 teachers from various CBSE-affiliated schools participated in it.
The session began with an interactive discussion highlighting the goals, structure and key components of the NCF along with strategies to enhance teaching methodologies. The resource persons emphasised on important aspects such as the 21st-century skills, value-based education, student-centric learning, experiential learning, technology integration and inclusive education for the holistic development of learners. The teachers took part in collaborative activities, availing themselves of opportunities to learn from one another’s experience and making their teaching practices more effective. At the conclusion, the principal expressed gratitude to both resource persons and participants of the workshop and encouraged the teachers to implement their learnings in classroom teaching.
