A two-day national seminar on “Science as a tool for skill enhancement among entrepreneurs”, organised by the Departments of Botany and Zoology at Swami Vivekananda Government College, Ghumarwin, under the aegis of Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC) of the college, concluded on Saturday.

The limitations of theoretical science making it less effective to face the challenges imposed by globalisation triggered the need to organise the seminar so that a platform can be provided for scholars to share their views on the practical utility of science and technology for inculcating entrepreneurship and generating employment. Sixtythree scholars from states participated in the seminar with oral and poster presentations.
