This year, students who excelled in the test will be awarded scholarships worth up to Rs 50 lakh, along with additional prizes totalling Rs 15 lakh. The examination was conducted both online and offline to ensure wider accessibility.

Vidyapeeth directors Ravindra Awasthi and Ramesh Sharma, in a joint statement, said the primary objective of the test was to foster an interest in science among students. “This year, the test was conducted in three phases — the first phase on September 8, the second on September 20 and the final phase on October 13. The tests took place at Vidyapeeth’s branches in Shimla and Sundernagar, as well as in several other schools across the state,” the statement read.
