6K people benefit from wellness programmes
The Antarnirman Complex, an initiative of the Yog Manav Vikas Trust, has completed 12 successful years of promoting wellness, meditation and holistic health. Chairperson Kiran Dodeja shared that the trust has impacted over 6,000 participants through 150 intensive five-day programmes, reaching individuals from across India, including Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Kargil and Jammu and Kashmir.
The latest programme, Inner Engineering and Mind Balance, attracted nationwide participation, offering transformative experiences to attendees. Antarnirman, meaning “inner transformation”, emphasises incorporating therapeutic practices into daily activities like eating, breathing, meditating and sleeping. The programmes focus on enhancing physical, mental, intellectual, spiritual and executional quotients, underpinned by teachings on human anatomy and its systems.
Participants have lauded the initiative for its positive impact on their lives. AK Singh, CMD of National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC), described the programmes as “highly valuable and immediately impactful”, while Gopal Dhawan, CMD of Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL), praised the spiritual and higher values taught during the sessions. Nirmal Singh from Ludhiana also appreciated the unique insights offered by the programmes.
Beyond on-site programmes, the trust has conducted over 300 outreach events across India, benefiting nearly 10,000 individuals remotely. These events replicate the disciplined environment of the Antarnirman Complex, ensuring impactful teachings for those unable to attend in person.
Looking ahead, the trust plans to expand its efforts to schools, focusing on life skills and lifestyle management for senior students. By instilling these practices early, the initiative aims to nurture healthier and well-balanced future generations.
