Seven more people tested positive for Corona infection in Tuesday, taking the total number of cases in the district to 353.

Those who tested positive today include 28-year-old male resident of Biara village near Andretta with travel history from Maharashtra. He had come back to Kangra by air on July 13 and was presently at institutional quarantine.

A 42-year-old male resident of Jamanabad village with travel history from Delhi by taxi and was presently under institutional quarantine. Another 31-year-old male resident of Maila village in Jaisinghpur area with a travel history from Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, and was presently under home quarantine.

33-year-old army personnel with a recent travel history from Nagaland. He is a resident of Rakkar village and was presently under home quarantine.

Three members of a family consisting of 38-year-old man, his wife (32) and their 8-year-old son who had come in contact with Covid positive patient have also tested positive. They were resident of Bassa village near Palah.

Meanwhile, a 50-year-old male from Bassa in Jawali recovered and was allowed to go home.
