A total of 70 cadets — 46 boys and 24 girls — from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab are participating in the expedition. They will sail across Govind Sagar Lake, halting overnight at Bilaspur, Jagatkhana, Raipur and Nakharana.

Addressing the cadets, DC Rahul Kumar said such campaigns promote discipline, courage, character building, cultural exchange and national unity, inspiring youth to serve the nation.

On the occasion, Bilaspur RTO Rajesh Kumar Kaushal briefed cadets on road safety rules, urging them to adopt traffic discipline. NCC cadets from Bilaspur Degree College, Hydro Engineering College Bandla and DAV School, Barmana, were also present.
