94 posts to be filled in forest corp: Govind Singh Thakur,

As many as 94 posts, including 75 forest guards, will be filled soon by direct recruitment to maintain smooth functioning of the Forest Development Corporation, said Forest Minister Govind Singh Thakur, during a meeting of the Board of Directors of the corporation here today.
He said the corporation had earned Rs 5.60 crore from the sale of turpentine oil. He added that multi-purpose workers would also be recruited. It was decided to give 5 per cent dearness allowance to officers and employees of the corporation on the pattern of the state government from July 1, 2019, which will benefit 1,421 employees. It was also decided to pay the enhanced wages to the daily wage earners. The contract employees would also be regularised. The Forest Minister told the officers to work for modernisation of Nahan and Bilaspur factories. He approved the opening of a central depot at Patlikuhl in Kullu district. — TNS
