95% mutation cases settled: Karsog SDM

Karsog SDM Narender Singh has said 95 per cent revenue cases related to public have been settled through Special Mutation-Revenue Lok Adalats in Karsog subdivision during the last three months. The remaining 5 per cent cases are expected to be resolved soon, he added.

“People’s confidence in the government has also been strengthened by the speedy resolution of the long-pending revenue cases of the people through these Lok Adalats. People of Karsog sub-division have also benefited from this,” he added.

“In the Karsog subdivision, a total of 982 cases related to mutation had been pending in various Patwar circles falling under sub-tehsil Pangana and Bagshad, apart from tehsil Karsog. The organisation of special Lok Adalats started by the state government from October 30 and 31 last year in Karsog has also ensured prompt disposal of pending mutation-related cases and till now, out of the total pending cases in the area, 930 mutation-related cases have been resolved,” the SDM said.

“As many as 607 cases have been settled through Special Revenue Lok Adalats in Karsog tehsil, while only 25 cases are pending. In sub-tehsil Pangana, 103 cases have been disposed and three are

pending. A total of 220 cases have been disposed in sub-tehsil Bagshad so far and only 24 cases are still pending,” he said.
