965 new cases, four deaths in Himachal

Shimla, August 3

As many as 965 Covid cases were reported in the state today. Besides, four persons died of the virus (one each in Kangra, Shimla, Hamirpur and Sirmaur). The number of active cases rose to 5,454.

The highest number of 270 cases was recorded in Kangra, followed by 181 in Shimla, 138 in Mandi, 76 in Hamirpur, 59 in Bilaspur, 56 in Chamba, 45 in Sirmaur, 38 each in Solan and Una, 37 in Kullu, 22 in Kinnaur and five in Lahaul and Spiti. — TNS
