NSUI ex-state chief reinstated

Keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the district unit of the Congress id wooing old party leaders, who had either been sidelined or suspended for anti-party activities in the past.
Former NSUI state president Karun Sharma, who is also a former Zila Parishad member, was suspended by the Congress seven years ago as part of disciplinary action. Today, he was reinstated in the party.
Members of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee and former Una MLA Satpal Singh Raizada inducted him into the party. On the occasion, some supporters of Karun Sharma also joined the Congress.
Those who were re-inducted into the Congress include Ajay Chaudhary, Vishal Sharma, Paras Bhandari, Rahul and Bhupinder Bindra.
Speaking on the occasion, Raizada said workers are the backbone of the Congress and all those, who were sidelined in the party and have not joined another political outfit, will be brought back.
He said the Congress will together contest the Lok Sabha elections in Una to win the Hamirpur seat.
Raizada said this is just a beginning of the campaign to strengthen the party.
Karun Sharma expressed his happiness on rejoining the Congress, which he considered his home.
Kaurn said he will shoulder any responsibility, which will be given by the party. Una block Congress president Ravinder Sahore was also present.
