OWNERS are abandoning their cattle near the Samlech tunnel on the Solan-Shimla highway. These cattle roam about on this stretch of the highway, posing a severe risk of accidents. As it is a major traffic hazard, the authorities concerned should take note of the issue and penalise the defaulters in the interest of the drivers.

THE stretch of the road leading to the Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialty (AIMSS), Chamiana, is in a very bad shape and filled with large potholes. These potholes have been causing a lot of inconvenience to commuters, especially patients. The ongoing monsoon has worsened the problem.
