Vishal Thakur, an ABVP activist, emphasised the urgent need to complete the land transfer process for the university. He also demanded the introduction of new courses and the permanent appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff at the university. Thakur warned that if the issues were not addressed promptly, the ABVP would launch a more aggressive movement in the near future.

Chirag Thakur, another activist of the ABVP, stressed the need for scholarships for research scholars and the expansion of the university’s jurisdiction. He further called for swift action on these demands, warning that failure to do so would lead to large-scale protests.

In response, Dharampur MLA Chander Shekhar assured the students that their concerns would be taken seriously. He promised to raise the issues with the relevant authorities and departments, and reiterated his commitment to working for the welfare of the students.
